Training Days and Timings


The Kishora Sudha Stage 01 workshop will be held on 22nd (Thursday) and 23rd February 2024 (Friday) in three time slots.  The days and time slots are as per Indian Standard Time.  

Kindly find the equivalent day and time as per your time zone.  Three time slots are:

  • Slot 1:   05:30 am to 07:30 am
  • Slot 2:  11:00 am to 01:00 pm
  • Slot 3:  07:30 pm to 09:30 pm

Kindly note:

  • You can attend more than one time slot if you require.  
  • Attend the workshop on both days at the same time slot.
  • The workshop will focus on practically applying what is self-learnt and clarifying any doubts.  You can also share your queries in advance with our volunteers, to help utilize the workshop time better.
  • Practice well in advance as pre-preparation is mandatory to utilize the benefits of the workshop.

How to become a teacher for Stage 01 Kishora Sudha?


The process to become a teacher of Kishora Sudha Stage 01 involves the following steps

  • Register yourself by filling in the Google forms with your details shared in the through WhatsApp messages
  • Join the Training specific WhatsApp Group for further updates and announcements, shared through WhatsApp messages.
  • Access all self-learning materials on this page and practice at your own pace and at the time of your convenience.  Complete the learning before the Scheduled workshops.
  • Attend two day workshop after self-learning, to get practical experience as well as expert guidance on how to teach.  The workshop will be for a duration of 2 to 2.5 hours each day.
  • After the workshop, share your audio file containing select shlokas 
  • Undergo mentoring from one of our mentors.  Mentors will be allotted based on evaluation of your audio recording and corrections required.
  • Undergo mentoring by scheduling the mentoring session as per convenience of mentors.
  • Once certified by our mentors, we will consider you ready to take a batch.
  • Attend an additional workshop on using Google meet for teaching and other teaching skills, on a need basis.
  • You can also attend one or two batches currently running to observe the teaching process to gain experience of a live classroom environment.
  • We shall designate batches keeping your preferences in mind.
  • A senior teacher will accompany you to your batch, introduce you and handhold you for one or two sessions.
  • A coordinator will collaborate along with you to run the class, if required.

In which order to prepare for the workshop?

  • Master Samskruta Varnamala first.  Listen and practice pronouncing Samskruta alphabets.  Focus on the place of their origin within the mouth.  Get a good understanding of the visarga sandhi rules and see their application.  These aspects will help while instructing children considering that each child may have a different pronunciation challenge.
  • Listen to Teacher student recording of nineteen shlokas, one at a time, while referring to the scripts.  Focus on
    • Correct pronunciation of each syllable
    • Hrasva (short vowels) and Dheerga (long vowels)
    • Alpaprana and Mahaprana for grouped consonants (mahaprana consonants are highlighted in the script and slides)
    • Correct application of  visarga sandhi rules in the shlokas.
    • Where to break the shlokas and how to teach longer phrases
    • Tune of the shlokas.
  • Once you are comfortable, practice the nineteen shlokas along with the single audio, to get control over the tune of the shlokas.
